Excellence in Public Safety: The Art of First Response
by photographic artist, Roni Ziemba
Photographic art from Ziemba’s collection, featuring Glendale Police and Firefighters, will be permanently displayed at the Glendale Regional Public Safety Center. Nine Organizations Receive Funding to Bring Free Performing Arts Programs to Glendale
To motivate, increase and support the performing arts in our community, the City of Glendale offers the Annual Performing Arts Partnership Program, a competitive funding opportunity for arts organizations to bring free-to-the-public programs and performances to Glendale.

Plein Air painting Winners of the 2015 Glendale Plein Air Painting Competition
This annual one-day painting event took place during the Glendale Chocolate Affaire on Jan. 31. The event is open to any artist who paints using the Plein Air technique in oil, watercolor, acrylic or pastel. Plein Air (open air) paintings are executed outdoors and from real life. The event was hosted by the Glendale Public Art Program in conjunction with City of Glendale Office of Special Events and the Annual Glendale Chocolate Affaire. The winning entries became part of Glendale’s permanent collection upon completion of the event. To see the winners, click here.
