Foothills 360 Summer Drop-in Recreation Program
May 30-Aug. 4 / Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center, 5600 W. Union Hills Dr. This fun and engaging program offers fun activities at the recreation center, such as swimming, rock-climbing and much more. Spaces fill up quickly! Registration is open now.

Desert Mirage Summer Drop-in Recreation Program
May 30-July 28 at Desert Mirage Elementary School, 8605 W. Maryland Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Registration per week: $50 resident, $60 non-resident
This exciting summer drop-in recreation program is offered for kids entering kindergarten through eighth grade and will provide enriching recreational opportunities that will allow them to meet new friends and be physically active. Program activities include sports, group games, free play, creative art, STEM experiments, game challenges, summer reading adventures, movie time, special events and lots of fun. Registration now open!
All participants must wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes (for sports/fitness activities). Breakfast & Lunch will be provided by the Pendergast School District (in the Desert Mirage Cafeteria). Youth must be the appropriate age by the first day of entering the program. This is a drop-in summer camp and is not a licensed program (during the summer). Field Trip Package 2017 $110 Resident/ $130 Non-resident
There are five exciting outings in the field trip package this summer. The trips will include Peter Piper Pizza, Jumpstreet, Rose Lane Aquatics Center, Great Skate and Wet & Wild Waterpark. All children must be registered and participate in the Desert Mirage Drop-In Recreation Program to sign up for the field trip package. Registration for the summer program and the field trip package both begin May 1 and spaces are limited for the field trip package! Licensed Glendale Recreation After School Program (GRASP) Video of our GRASP Program!Watch Now
GRASP is a licensed program, regulated by the Arizona Department of Health Services which accepts DES qualifying families. This licensed site provides a variety of activities for children ages 5-13. Programming includes educational activities, snacks, group games, homework time and enrichment opportunities. The site is supervised at all times by caring, adult staff members.
The Desert Mirage site is open on early release days but closed on national holidays. Check with site staff regarding intersession availability.
