39th Annual Saguaro Astronomy Club
FREE Public Star Party 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at the Thunderbird Conservation Park, 67th Avenue and Patrick Lane (3/4 mile north of Deer Valley Road) - FREE
Members of the Saguaro Astronomy Club will have large and small telescopes set up and available for public viewing. Sunset is at 7:22 p.m. They will show a variety of astronomical objects including the Moon, planets, stars, galaxies and deep sky wonders. Club volunteers will be glad to answer questions you may have about the heavens and astronomy in general. Weather permitting, please join us for a night under the stars!

Surviving the Summer: Safety Event 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, June 3, at the Westgate Entertainment District, Fountain Park, 6770 N. Sunrise Blvd.
Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services, along with other City departments, is offering a free event filled with tips and techniques to help residents get through the summer and make it safer.
