Funding Opportunity for Performing Arts Projects to be Held in Glendale
July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016
To motivate, increase and support the performing arts in Glendale, the City of Glendale is offering up to $4,000 in support funding for theater, dance, music and interdisciplinary performing art projects and performances held in the city of Glendale. The program is designed to offer aid for projects open and free to the Glendale community. Funds can be used to support items such as artist fees, project-related expenses for producing performances & workshops and project-related expenses for cultural exchanges that result in performances or activities. All projects must take place within the city limits of Glendale.
Applicants mlust be located in or co-sponsor with an organization, school or government agency domiciled within the city limits of Glendale. Applicant must be a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit organization. Applicants without this status may apply through a partnership with a 501(c)3 organization, school, or government agency. Examples of partners: A City of Glendale department such as Special Events, Parks and Recreation, Libraries; or a school or college located within the city limits of Glendale.
