  • Mesa Arts Center Main Street Prototyping Festival RFP Extension Downtown Mesa
    Deadline: February 20, 2017
    Applicants can submit proposals to create temporary projects – from gathering places to pathways, from games to performances to interactive artwork – that activate public space and engage the community toward enhancing connectivity and vibrancy in Downtown Mesa. The temporary design installations (prototypes) will be shown in a two-day festival November 10-11, 2017* and residents will be invited to vote for their favorites. Total project stipend will range from $1,000- $3,000. We seek proposals of prototype ideas from all types of disciplines and perspectives, and proposals can be submitted by either individuals or teams. The idea is to make Downtown Mesa’s public spaces more interactive and connected. For more information, contact samuel.pena@mesaartscenter.com.

  • CITY OF GLENDALE FUNDING OPPORTUNITY!Summer Band
    The Centerline Arts & Cultural Initiative
    Rolling Deadline for Applications:
    5 p.m. • First Monday of each month • August 2016 to March 2017

    The Glendale Public Art Program is pleased to announce an expansion in funding for arts and culture, the 2016-2017 Centerline Arts and Cultural Initiative. The city has developed this program to motivate, increase and support free cultural events and performances to enrich the quality of life and experiences of all Glendale citizens, while increasing foot traffic in the Centerline District. The Centerline District is bounded by 43rd Avenue to the east, 67th Avenue to the west, Myrtle Avenue to the north, and Ocotillo Road to the south.
