MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY WEEKEND RECREATION SWIM HOURS

The RECREATION CENTER will be closed, but the AQUATICS CENTER will be open!

Please note our modified schedule for the aquatics center and recreation swim:

Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26

Recreation Swim: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Lobby Opens: 12:00 PM
Center Closes: 5:00 PM

On both days, the facility will be open exclusively for Recreation Swim. All other programs and services will be unavailable.

Monday – Friday: 5:30am-7:30pm
Saturday: 7am – 5pm

Located at 5600 W Union Hills Drive, the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center (FRAC) is a full-service, recreation and aquatics center serving the Glendale community. The center provides educational, recreational, fitness and social activities through classes, special events and ongoing center activities. Select areas and programs are free to anyone. Recreation Memberships may be purchased for additional opportunities. No joining fees or contracts! Daily, monthly, 15-punch and annual recreation memberships are available; see membership rates.

Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center

The facility features:

A full-size open gymnasium featuring basketball, badminton, and pickleball.
Recreation and aerobic classes
An indoor walking/jogging track
A rockwall
Locker room facilities
Racquetball courts
Room Rentals for events
A full fitness center with free weights, a strength training circuit, and cardio equipment.
Year-round lap swimming, water aerobics, and Red Cross Lifeguard and instructor certification programs in the outdoor, heated pool.
A summertime Aquatics Center featuring 2 giant slides, a kiddie slide, a zero depth entry leisure pool with spray features, a water playground, a lazy river, diving wells with 2 diving boards and 6 lap lanes, and a snack bar.
