NOTICE: Glen Lakes Golf Course will close permanently on Monday, March 25.

NOTICE: Please be aware that Parks staff has increased the watering for aeration and fertilization at all parks, currently underway through approximately May.  If you have any questions about this, contact the Parks Maintenance Office at 623-930-2691.

    This beautiful garden was developed to stimulated the senses of sight, sound, smell and touch.

  • Golf Courses
    The city has two golf courses, Glen Lakes and Desert Mirage.

  • Disc Golf Course
    An 18-hole course located at Thunderbird Paseo Park

  • Paseo Racquet Center
    Glendale's award-winning tennis facility.

  • Public Pools
    The city has 1 year-round aquatic facility at the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center, the Rose Lane Aquatics Center available during the summer and a summer splash pad. Group and private swim lessons, recreational swimming, family days, pool rentals and water exercise classes available.

  • Skate and BMX Facilities
    Sk8 Court, at 57th Avenue and Union Hills Drive. (skateboarding, inline)
    X-Court, at 83rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road. (skateboarding, inline, BMX)

  • Sports Fields
    The city has 13 fields available for reservation for a variety of sports activities.
