Splash Pad

SPLASH PAD IS NOW Closed
The Glendale Heroes Regional Park splash pad will be reopened for the season on Saturday, May 29, 2021.

Splash pad users, and all those visiting Glendale parks, are encouraged to continue following all CDC guidelines, including maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet of space between individuals; and washing hands and/or using hand sanitizer. In addition, those who are sick or who may have been exposed to COVID-19 are asked to avoid public spaces.

UPDATE July 30
The City has been working on a plan to safely reopen our parks, recreation facilities, and programs. The plan is to reopen in three phases. In Phase I, we opened the outdoor features of our parks including the ramadas, playgrounds and sport courts. In Phase II, open with a modified schedule for the Gymnasium, Walking/Jogging Track, and Fitness Center at the Foothills Recreation Center. There are no current plans for programs or sports facilities available until further notice. However, we expect to begin taking sports field rental reservations in Phase III.  Thank you for your patience as we work to provide quality programs and facilities in a safe, responsible way.
