Arizona has lowered taxes, streamlined regulations, and established a suite of incentives to support corporate growth and expansion. The Arizona Competitiveness Package, groundbreaking legislation adopted in 2011, makes it easier for existing Arizona companies to prosper and establishes Arizona as one of the most desirable places for expanding companies to do business. Give your company a competitive edge by utilizing Arizona’s incentives.

containersForeign Trade Zone
Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) are government-designated sites where foreign and domestic materials may be stored, manipulated, mixed with domestic and/or foreign materials, used in assembly or manufacturing processes, or exhibited for sale without triggering the payment of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) duties and excise taxes. Glendale has one designated Foreign Trade Zone Magnet site that encompasses 542 acres and allows qualified users to benefit from the FTZ without having to apply as a user-driven site. This site will be fully active by the end of 2019.

Ombudsmancustomer service person with headset
Arizona's codes and regulations can be challenging for its citizens.  The City of Glendale understands that not everyone is familiar with the rules and processes that are involved with opening or expanding a business in the City. Through our ombudsman service customers receive support through these processes and are able to bring resolution to issues that may arise.  The ombudsman acts as an advocate for the customer, answering questions and coordinating with various organizations as needed to make customer interactions as trouble-free as possible.
