Annual Performance Evaluation Program
The City's Performance Management Program is a tool to facilitate open, accurate and meaningful dialogue around expectations, and to provide specific and timely feedback on employee performance. Below are resources and forms to assist employees and supervisors in making the evaluation process meaningful, and guidance for supervisors on managing performance that does not meet expectations.
All evaluation's, probationary and annual, are completed in the NEOGOV system. NEOGOV is the City’s hiring and onboarding platform, evaluation system and learning management platform.
All supervisors and employees will have the opportunity to use the evaluation system for:
- Documenting goals & expectations for the year;
- Completing midpoint check-ins;
- Submitting self-appraisals; and
- Completing the year-end and probationary evaluations!
The City's annual evaluation cycle for all non-probationary employees runs May 1 - April 30th. Supervisors are required to communicate and document employee expectations, goals and performance throughout the year; however, required documentation and tasks will follow a standard process.
