To assist in offsetting the cost of obtaining higher education, the
City offers several education assistance programs:
- Tuition Reimbursement
- Degree Stipend
- Education Conversion
- Education Leave Time
- School Partnerships
These education assistance programs are available for all* regular status employees who:
- Have complete at least one year of regular status employment with the City;
- Maintain an overall rating of Meets Expectations or above on their most recent performance evaluation.
Education Assistance programs are subject to budget availability and eligible submissions will be awarded as they are received.

*Employees who's position hours are less than forty (40) hours per week are eligible for pro-rated benefits.
