The Human Resources & Risk Management Department is aligned with the City Manager's Office to achieve strategic human capital objectives through consultation to the city's leadership and line management and supporting opportunities to help employees succeed in their careers. The department provide proactive, innovative, and quality customer service and consultation in the areas of Total Compensation, Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Staffing, Risk Management (Property & General Liability, Workers Compensation & Employee Safety). Human Resources & Risk Management staffs the city's Personnel Board, Commission on Persons with Disabilities, Local Public Safety Retirement System Boards, Workers' Compensation Trust Fund Board and management committees.
