CAPRA provides quality assurance and quality improvement of accredited park and recreation agencies throughout the United States. CAPRA is the only national accreditation of park and recreation agencies, and is a valuable measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management, and service to the community.

The city has two golf courses, Glen Lakes and Desert Mirage.

Public Pools
The city has 1 year-round aquatic facility at the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center, the Rose Lane Aquatics Center available during the summer and a summer splash pad. Group and private swim lessons, recreational swimming, family days, pool rentals and water exercise classes available.

The city has 13 fields available for reservation for a variety of sports activities.
