  • Camelback Ranch - Glendale
    The new Spring Training home for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox, Camelback Ranch in Glendale is located on 125 acres at 111th Avenue, west of the Loop 101 between Camelback Road and Glendale Avenue, and reaches across both Glendale and Phoenix city borders. The first-rate baseball facility includes more than 118,000 square feet of Major and Minor League clubhouse space, 13 full baseball fields and three half-fields.

    Discover Glendale's Best Kept Historic Secrets and enjoy outstanding tours of two National Register sites - the 1897 Manistee Ranch and the 1898 Guest House at Sahuaro Ranch.

  • Gila River Arena
    Gila River Arena is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility that hosts national and international chart-topping recording artists, a variety of sporting events and exciting family shows each year.   • Glendale Police Museum
    Dedicated to Glendale's finest, the exhibit spans police history from the early days of the territorial sheriff to the present day. View early police equipment and items.

    The exhibit is located in the lobby of the Glendale Police Dept. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

  • Historic Sahuaro Ranch
    Enjoy the 1885 homestead that is one of the oldest and best-preserved examples of early ranches in the Salt River Valley. All the original restored buildings are open to the public October-May. The lush grounds and gardens are open each day for walking tours dawn to dusk. Sahuaro Ranch Days, Christmas at the Ranch, Antique Tractor Show, Get Back To The Past and the Grand Canyon Onion Festival invite the visitor to explore adventures in history.

  • Glendale Xeriscape Demonstration Garden
    The award-winning garden contains over 400 species of desert-adapted plants, including trees, shrubs, cacti, and wildflowers. Plants are identified by common and botanical names. These low-water-use plants are excellent for Arizona gardens. Free landscaping brochures are available inside the library. Check out the water conservation Web site for an online tour of the garden.
