Notice is hereby given that the City of Glendale, Arizona, will receive proposals for furnishing the following:
18-32 -  PARTNERSHIP FOR AFTER-SCHOOL AND SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAMS

IMPORTANT: This is a sealed bid process requiring proposals to be hand-delivered before the date/time shown above. Mailed or emailed proposals will be rejected. All proposals will be date/time stamped upon receipt.

Monday through Friday (except observed holidays)
Offices are closed December 25, 2017 and January 1, 2018
 
The City of Glendale (City) is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified mission-driven community organizations to provide year-round youth programming at City-owned community and recreation centers. The current community need is to provide after-school programming during the school year, and all-day programming during school breaks. Current participants are generally from low to moderate income families and in grades K-8.

The City’s objective is to engage one or many community partner(s) to provide free and/or low-cost activities in a positive community learning space. The expectation is that operators will provide these services in a safe, caring environment that nurtures and supports cognitive growth and development. This partnership is intended to advance the City’s mission of improving the lives of the people we serve every day; and, the expected outcome is to improve the community experience by delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative services, grounded in the needs and priorities of final beneficiaries. The City intends to use one solicitation to identify operators for the following centers based on the expiration of the existing contracts. For a complete description of the facilities, as well as a summary of the service area demographics, see Appendix B.

The proposal document is available at the office of the Materials Manager, 5850 W Glendale Avenue, Glendale, AZ, 85301, Glendale, Arizona, or can be downloaded from this web site. Each quote shall be in accordance with the specifications and instructions contained therein.

Each proposal shall be sealed, identified and received on or before the due date and time listed above.  Proposals shall be delivered to the Engineering Department’s front counter located on the third floor of City Hall,  5850 W Glendale Avenue, Glendale, AZ, 85301.

The City of Glendale reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities.
