The City of Glendale (City) is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified mission-driven community organizations to provide year-round youth programming at two City-owned community and recreation centers. The current community need is to provide after-school STEM and recreational programming during the school year, and all-day programming during school breaks.


The City’s objective is to engage one or more community partner(s) to provide free and/or low-cost activities in a positive community learning space. The expectation is that operators will provide these services in a safe, caring environment that nurtures and supports cognitive growth and development. This partnership is intended to advance the City’s mission of improving the lives of the people we serve every day; and, the expected outcome is to improve the community experience by delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative services, grounded in the needs and priorities of final beneficiaries.



The proposal document is available at the office of the Materials Manager, 5850 W Glendale Avenue, Glendale, AZ, 85301, Glendale, Arizona, or can be downloaded from this web site. Each quote shall be in accordance with the specifications and instructions contained therein.

Each proposal shall be sealed, identified and received on or before the due date and time listed above.  Proposals shall be delivered to the Engineering Department’s front counter located on the third floor of City Hall,  5850 W Glendale Avenue, Glendale, AZ, 85301.

The City of Glendale reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities.
