Celebrate Water Awareness!
April 11 | 4:00-5:00 PM | Glendale Main Library (5959 W. Brown St.) | Ages 5-18
Let's learn about our water! Our water comes from various sources, and we have developed ways to ensure a reliable supply. During this event, participants will have the opportunity to build a dam and learn about the many benefits they provide by storing water. We will also use a groundwater flow model to demonstrate how we access water stored underground in aquifers.
Don't forget - you can also participate in the Water Awareness Bookmark Art Contest by creating your own bookmark!
