Volunteer Opportunities 

Glendale Elementary School District Food Distributions
Tuesdays and Wednesdays
GESD System of Care, 7677 W. Bethany Home Rd
Tuesdays (8am-10:30am), Wednesdays (7am-9am)

Every month, Glendale Elementary School District hold food distributions where they hand out 350+ food boxes to the community. The need for food boxes has increased steadily along with the need for volunteer support to get food to families effectively. There are two opportunities to help with each distribution; one day would be the packing of the food boxes and the following day would be handling the boxes out to the community. Below are the dates for the food distributions. 10-15 volunteers are need for each volunteer opportunity. To register, please complete the form.

Opportunities with Partners

The Special Olympics Arizona is looking for volunteers on April 25th-27th to help with the 2024 State Summer Games.  The mission of Special Olympics Arizona is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.  To sign up to volunteer: https://soaz.givepulse.com/event/429340


Rise Up Glendale is looking for volunteers on Friday, May 17th for their event "Huddle Up Glendale! Let's Tackle Fentanyl". The event will bring together community members, treatment and prevention staff, youth/young adults, adult family members, faith and ministry leaders, and service providers.
