Welcome to the City of Glendale's Transit Service website.  Transit provides a wide range of convenient, low-cost transportation alternatives for Glendale citizens and visitors, including fixed-route bus service, Glendale Dial-A-Ride, Glendale Urban Shuttle (GUS) bus service, ADA service and a taxi-voucher program.

Effective October 7, 2023, Gus 1 will resume its regular weekend operating hours. The service hours will be from 7am to 6:30pm on Saturdays and from 8am to 6pm on Sundays and Valley Metro observed Holidays. If you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact 623.930.3510.

Glendale OnBoard is a shared Microtransit/Paratransit transportation service serving the City of Glendale, Arizona. The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
             
Same day and reservation service is offered Monday-Friday, while weekend and observed holiday service is by reservation only. Requests for service on weekends and observed holidays must be made by noon the previous Wednesday.

GUS the Bus - Glendale Urban Shuttle

GUS Bus PictureThe free Glendale Urban Shuttle (GUS) provides a great way to bring local destinations closer with three convenient circulator routes.

All GUS routes are wheelchair accessible and include bicycle racks.  See information below for the maps and destinations that each GUS bus serves.

There is no fare to ride any GUS bus.

Taxi Voucher

The City of Glendale is pleased to provide a Taxi-Voucher Program for persons with special transportation needs. The program is designed to assist individuals making repetitive trips for medical treatments and therapies.

Services for this program are provided by L&S Transportation, LLC.  For more information or to sign up for the program, contact L&S Transportation, LLC at 833-342-5977 or the City of Glendale Transit Services at 623-930-2940.

The City of Glendale Transit operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, or national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the City of Glendale’s transit services contractor, Valley Metro Customer Service Care center.
