Vicki L. Rios, CPA, Assistant City Manager

Ms. Rios started with the City of Glendale in December of 2013, as the Assistant Finance Director. In July of 2016, Ms. Rios began serving as the city’s Budget and Finance Director and since May of 2019 she has been serving as the Assistant City Manager.

Prior to working in Glendale, her career included positions at the City of Phoenix, the City of Peoria, and Arizona State University in various roles.  Ms. Rios holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine and, a Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Accountancy, and M.B.A., from Arizona State University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Government Finance Officers Association of Arizona, the Government Finance Officers Association, the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Forum for Black Public Administrators, Women Leading Government, the Arizona City/County Management Association, and the International City/County Management Association.
