Glendale’s Arts And Culture Division Announces The Opening Of The 2025-2026 Performing Arts Grant Program
Up to $4,000 per applicant is available for performing artists, organizations, schools and colleges
For the fifth consecutive year, the City of Glendale’s Arts and Culture Division is thrilled to announce the opening of the Performing Arts Grant Program.
This competitive funding opportunity is available to performing artists, schools, colleges, and other performing arts organizations within the city limits of Glendale. Funding of up to $4,000 per applicant is available for projects in the fields of theatre, dance, music, and interdisciplinary performing arts.
With the belief that a healthy and vibrant cultural arts habitat enhances the quality of life in communities, the City continues its commitment to assisting organizations that tell amazing stories through the spoken word and other mediums.

“Our city is full of amazing artists, and I am excited that we can continue to reward and support our artists through this grant program,” said Mayor Jerry P. Weiers. “Our Arts and Culture team have been working hard behind the scenes this last year to revive the artistic pieces around our city. I hope our arts community take advantage of this grant, adding to the vibrancy of Glendale.”
Previous funding has been awarded to over 70 organizations since the program’s inception in 2021. From non-profit theatres to live music, the City’s Performing Arts Grants have measurable, tangible success giving many students and citizens opportunities to speak and be recognized.
This performing arts program brings the richness of arts and culture to individuals and communities who might not otherwise have these opportunities.
“It continues to be my great pleasure to work with the City of Glendale, and the Glendale Arts Commission on the Performing Arts Grant program,” said Chris Taylor, City of Glendale Arts and Culture Administrator. “By giving children, students, and arts organizations a mechanism to have their voices heard while lessening the financial handicaps, this program is another step towards engendering listening and empathy amongst our city and its great citizens.”

The application window will remain open until May 31, 2025. Applications will be considered for projects that plan to take place between September 1, 2025, and August 30, 2026.
The Office of Arts and Culture was proud to offer 15 awards for the 2025 Fiscal Year and will look to offer the same funding in the 2026 Fiscal Year. For more information or to submit an application, please visit the City of Glendale website here.
