30 YEARS OF HOLIDAY SPARKLE SHINES IN GLENDALE
The city celebrates the magic of the holidays with an event for the whole family
Glendale is celebrating 30 years of joy and tradition with Glendale Glitters illuminating downtown Glendale from November 24 – January 1. The tree lighting ceremony on Friday, November 24 at 5:45 p.m. at the Glendale Civic Center will kick off the glow of bright lights throughout the area.
The two-night extravaganza on November 24 and 25 brings festive cuisine offerings, local arts and craft vendors, visits by Santa Claus and carolers spreading cheer throughout downtown Glendale. Plus, larger-than-life light installations will be on display to enjoy and capture holiday memories with family and friends.
“I’m thrilled Glendale Glitters is approaching and the community can enjoy how it transforms our city into a magical wonderland, bringing joy and warmth to all who attend,” said Glendale City Councilmember Jamie Aldama from the Ocotillo District. “This event captures the spirit of the holidays and radiates positivity and goodwill.”
“Glendale has created long-standing holiday traditions for the entire community and we’re thrilled to continue making fond memories this year,” said Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers. “Glendale is a special place all year round, but it is particularly inviting during the season of goodwill.”
