The citizens of the City of Glendale are a key element of the Street Light Maintenance Program. Residents are encouraged to report all outages as soon as they are noticed. Your help in timely reporting street lights that are out or damaged will help us provide the best service possible.
We would like to know about:
- Lights which are not operating
- Lights which are going on and off
- Broken glass
- Open, broken, or missing light fixture
- Damaged poles
- Exposed wires
- Missing hand hole covers
To report a street light issue, please visit the city's service request system by clicking the photo below. To complete your request, please use the GIS mapping link to determine the light pole number and address. This information will expedite our response to your request. When entering your request, you will be prompted to select the “Issue Type”. For this, look for Street Lighting or simply start typing the issue.
By using GlendaleOne to report this issue staff will automatically be assigned for follow-up; and, submitter have the option to personalize notification preferences for automatic progress updates, add photos, search a knowledge base of frequently asked questions, quickly access important phone numbers, and request a variety of other city services.

If the light is located east of 51st Avenue and north of Cactus Road, the light is in the City of Phoenix (and not in Glendale).
The following are lights that are not maintained by the Street Light Program:
- Freeway lighting – Arizona Department of Transportation - 602-771-2440
- Traffic signals – City of Glendale Traffic Signals Division - 623-930-2940
- Park lighting - 623-930-2640
- Private or area lighting – Utility companies (either SRP or APS), see contacts page for phone numbers
