NEW 08/07/2020 Draft Rules and Regulation feedback deadline has been extended till September 8, 2020.

Glendale Airport Staff has also been asked what is the reason for updating the Airport Rules and Regulations? The Rules and Regulations were last updated in 2014. A lot has changed since then including the 2016 FAA Final Rule on Standards for the use of hangars, the judgement regarding the Glendale Airports Pilots Association v. City of Glendale, and the judgement regarding the Valley Aviation Services v. City of Glendale. The update is necessary to bring the Rules and Regulations into compliance with each of the issues.
In addition, a few people have pointed out several tenants may be away on vacation or away for the summer and suggested we extend the comment period for the draft. We want to give as many people as possible a chance to comment. In that vein, we are extending the comment period to September 8, 2020. We look forward to the additional comments.
A follow up meeting with the Glendale Hangar Association Presidents was scheduled for August 17, 2020. That meeting is rescheduled to September 21, 2020. We will send a separate meeting notice to place on your calendar.
