Adult Sports Leagues

UPDATE 9/17/20
The city of Glendale is preparing to welcome residents back to recreation facilities and sports fields closed earlier this year to fight the spread of COVID-19. Beginning Thursday, October 1, the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center will begin a phased reopening. At the same time, reservations will resume for Glendale sports fields while additional library services will be added. The city is closely monitoring COVID-19 statistics and is strictly following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Arizona Department of Health Services guidelines.

Adult Sports program participants must be age 18 or older as of the first game of the season. To receive Glendale resident rates, proof of residency must be provided. Proof must show address and be current within the last 60 days. Examples include driver’s license, water bill (preferred), etc. If necessary, teams will pay the maximum non-resident fee until proof of residency is verified, then a refund will be issued for the appropriate amount. Refunds typically take 7-10 business days.

ADULT TEAMS: Payment must be cash, cashier’s check, business check, money order or credit card. No personal checks will be accepted. Teams will be refunded $70 if the Glendale minimum residency requirement is met upon deadline of registration. If proof of residency is shown at time of registration, teams will pay only the resident fee. (Teams must show proof of two Glendale residents by submitting photocopies of the player’s current Glendale water bill or other documents to prove residency in order to pay the resident fee or receive $70 refund.)
